Why do we not have a new Arts & Recreation Complex in the township?
Is there a need in this township for a new Arts & Recreation Complex? Why have so many groups failed in the past in their attempts to bring a new Arts & Recreation Complex to the township? What needs to happen for such a project to become a reality?

Why is Millbrook being overlooked for a recreation center that is so badly needed? Why is it going to be in Fraserville? Several years ago, there was consultant's report and feasibilty study undertaken by the then Millbrook council. There was even an architect's rendering of the new rec centre. I remember going to the Millbrook arena to have a look at the design. What happened to that plan? - Jane Z.
ReplyDeleteMany townships like ours have applied for and received currently available Federal and Provincial grants for projects such as community arts and recreational centers.
ReplyDeleteDo you think that Cavan Monaghan council has passed up on currently available funding for community based projects in order to direct all their fundraising efforts towards obtaining funding for the Fraserville mega-development?
